Cookie Policy
What this site and the Prosentriq console actually store in your browser, and what the banner controls.
1. What's actually in use right now
We'd rather this page under-claim than over-claim. As of the last update above, prosentriq.com does not load any third-party analytics or advertising script, and sets no tracking cookie. The only thing this site stores in your browser is:
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| prosentriq_cookie_consent | Local storage (not a cookie — not sent to any server, stays on your device) | Remembers whether you accepted or rejected optional cookies, so the banner doesn't reappear every visit | Until you clear it or use "Cookie settings" below |
This one item is strictly necessary for the banner to function as intended and isn't offered as a choice, the same way a cookie-consent tool's own preference record typically isn't.
2. The banner, and what "Accept" actually does
The banner exists ahead of us actually needing it, so that turning on analytics later never means silently starting to track returning visitors who never saw a choice. Right now:
- "Accept all" records your consent and would allow an analytics script to load on this and future visits — but there is currently no analytics script wired in for it to load.
- "Reject non-essential" records that choice and guarantees no analytics script loads, now or if one is added later, until you change your choice.
The code path this runs through is in web/landing/js/main.js, function
loadAnalytics() — currently an empty placeholder by design.
3. If we add analytics
If we add an analytics or product-usage tool (for example Plausible, PostHog, or Google Analytics), this table will be updated first, listing the specific cookies/storage it sets, before it's enabled for anyone who has already made a choice. It will only actually load for visitors who choose "Accept all" (or who accept after this update, if you previously rejected).
4. Cookies used by the product itself
The Prosentriq console (app.prosentriq.com) uses only first-party cookies that are strictly necessary to sign you in and keep your account secure. None is used for analytics or advertising, none is shared with anyone, and none is set unless you sign in or choose a display preference, so the console does not ask for consent to them.
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| psq_session | Cookie (first-party, HttpOnly, Secure, SameSite=Strict) | Keeps you signed in. Holds a random session identifier; we store only a hash of it | Until you sign out, or 12 hours |
| psq_csrf | Cookie (first-party, Secure, SameSite=Strict) | Protects your account against cross-site request forgery: the console sends it back with every change you make | Same as psq_session |
| psq_oauth | Cookie (first-party, HttpOnly, Secure, SameSite=Lax) | Only while you sign in with Google or Microsoft: ties their answer to the browser that started the sign-in | 10 minutes, deleted when the sign-in completes |
| psq_verify | Cookie (first-party, HttpOnly, Secure, SameSite=Strict) | Only after you sign up with an email and password: lets the verification link sign you in directly in the browser you signed up in (anywhere else it asks for your password) | 48 hours, deleted when you verify |
| prosentriq.theme | Local storage (stays on your device) | Remembers light or dark appearance | Until you clear it |
| prosentriq.tenant | Local storage (stays on your device) | Remembers which organization you were working in, if you belong to more than one | Until you clear it |
Checkout. When you choose a paid plan, the console opens a checkout provided by our payment processor, Paddle, in a frame on Paddle's own domain. Paddle may set its own cookies there, as described in Paddle's cookie and privacy policies.
The host dashboard that runs on your own servers (reached on the host itself) keeps its access token in session storage, cleared when the tab closes, and a few display preferences in local storage. None of this reaches Prosentriq.
5. Managing your choice
Change your mind anytime: use the "Cookie settings" link in the footer of any page, or clear
prosentriq_cookie_consent from your browser's local storage directly (in most browsers:
developer tools → Application/Storage → Local Storage). You can also block all storage for this
site at the browser level; the banner will simply reappear each visit in that case.
